Radhika Apte’s BAFTA Moment: Balancing Motherhood with Glamour

Bollywood actress Radhika Apte, who welcomed a baby girl last December, attended the British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) 2025 in London on Sunday.

On Tuesday, Radhika shared a unique glimpse of her BAFTA journey on Instagram. In the picture, she can be seen standing in a washroom, holding a breast pump in one hand and a champagne glass in the other.

Along with this post, she expressed gratitude to her close friend Natasha for making it possible for me to attend the BAFTAs. She scheduled the itinerary around my breast pumping timings.Radhika Apte

Thanking her friend, Radhika wrote, “And now my BAFTAS reality… She not only accompanied me to the washroom to express milk but more importantly brought me champagne in the loo.” She further added, “It’s hard as is to be a new mum and work, this level of care and sensitivity is rare in our film industry and much appreciated.

Radhika Apte’s film Sister Midnight was nominated in the ‘Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director, or Producer’ category.

The challenges of breastfeeding and managing personal care while working are significant, and Apte’s post highlights the importance of support for new mothers navigating this period.
