Twin Sisters Give Birth to Baby Boys Just a Day Apart

In a heartwarming coincidence, twin sisters Erica Denney and Madeline Majors gave birth to their baby boys just one day apart at Deaconess Women’s Hospital in Indiana last week.

Cooper, Erica’s son, was born on July 8, and Archie, Madeline’s baby, arrived on July 9. Although their due dates were 11 days apart, the cousins made their appearance within 24 hours of each other.

“We do everything together,” said Erica Denney. “I told Maddie the other day—how boring would it have been if just one of us were pregnant? It’s been so special going through it side by side.”

The sisters arrived at the hospital just hours apart and were given rooms right next to each other, which they say made the experience even more memorable.

“I could just walk over and be like, ‘Hey, do you have a hairbrush?” laughed Madeline Majors. “After Archie was born, when there was a moment, we wheeled Cooper over to meet him. It was so sweet.”

Cooper and Archie are the first children for both Erica and Madeline. Sharing the journey of pregnancy and childbirth brought them even closer.

“It’s just awesome they got to go through it together—best friends becoming moms together,” said Andrew Denney, Erica’s husband.

While Erica and Andrew’s house is being renovated, both families are currently living together. The new parents say it’s a full house—but one filled with love and support.

“We’re going to feed together, burp together, talk and cry together,” said Madeline. “It won’t be as lonely. That’s what makes it so comforting.”

“It’ll be nice to have that additional support there and kinda going through the same trenches,” her husband, Nicholas Majors added.

As for the future, the sisters say they wouldn’t be surprised if Cooper and Archie grow up calling each other brothers instead of cousins.
