‘K3G’s Young Kareena Kapoor Khan ‘Poo’, Malvika Raaj Announces Pregnancy

Actor-model Malvika Raaj Bagga, best known for playing the young Pooja (Poo) in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, is all set to embrace motherhood! Malvika and her husband, Pranav Bagga, are expecting their first child. The couple shared the heartwarming news with fans through an Instagram post that’s winning hearts online.

In the announcement post, Malvika shared several adorable pictures from a maternity shoot. The photos show the couple beaming with joy, donning matching white outfits and custom caps reading “mom” and “dad.” In the first frame, Malvika is seen holding a positive pregnancy test, capturing the couple’s excitement perfectly.

Along with the photos, she wrote:
“You + Me = 3 #OurLittleSecret #BabyOnTheWay #MPbaby”

The post was instantly flooded with congratulatory messages from fans and celebrities alike, with netizens showering love and blessings on the soon-to-be parents.

In a candid chat with ETimes, Malvika opened up about this new chapter in her life.

“It’s such a mix of emotions – excitement, nervousness, and everything in between. But I think that’s quite normal for a first-time mom. It’s a big change, and I’m trying to take it one day at a time,” she shared.

Calling the experience ‘surreal,’ Malvika added that the thought of meeting their baby soon keeps her motivated and grounded. She also revealed her plans for a short break:

“I plan to take some time off initially to make sure everything goes smoothly and to fully soak in those special first moments. Those moments are priceless and irreplaceable. But once I find a rhythm and things settle, I definitely want to get back to work. My career is equally important to me, and I look forward to returning with fresh energy and perspective.”

Born on September 18, 1990, in Mumbai, Malvika hails from a family with deep roots in the film industry. She rose to fame as a child artist with her role as young Poo in the iconic 2001 film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. She later transitioned into modelling and acting, making her debut as a lead actress in the Telugu film Jayadev (2017), followed by the Hindi action film Squad (2021). The couple got married in Goa in 2023.
