In a candid interview, Munn described the challenges she faced during the pandemic — becoming a first-time mother and battling postpartum anxiety — which led her to put her acting career on hold indefinitely.

“I called my agents and my manager and said, ‘I’m done being in front of the camera. Don’t put me up for anything,’” she recalled.

At the time, Munn felt unfulfilled in her acting career and began considering other creative paths, such as editing, producing, or writing.

However, everything changed when she was offered a role in Your Friends and Neighbors, starring alongside Jon Hamm and Amanda Preet. The opportunity reignited her passion for storytelling and ultimately brought her back to acting.
